Erika Stracqualursi received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 2019 and 2023, respectively, from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” Rome, Italy where she is currently a Post-Doc Researcher in electrical engineering with the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering.
In 2021, she was a Visiting PhD Student with the High Voltage Laboratory, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, where she was involved in studies of corona discharge along transmission lines and grounding.
In 2026, she was elected vice-chair of the Italy Chapter of the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society.
Her research interests include lightning, finite-difference time-domain methods, transmission line and grounding modelling and analysis.
