- epidemiological aspects;
- primary and secondary prevention;
- the role of genetic and environmental factors in the development of tumors.
• Diagnostic aspects in oncology
- the staging of tumors and instrumental examinations;
- use of serum and tissue tumor markers.

• Oncological therapies
- chemotherapy drugs: classification, mechanism of action, side effects, prevention and management of side effects;
- new biological and molecular drugs, target therapy: cellular targets, methods of use, side effects and their management.
