Objectives
Conoscenza e comprensione (knowledge and understanding): Dettaglio
Conoscenza e comprensione (knowledge and understanding): Dettaglio
- Acquire post-secondary level knowledge and understanding of conventional radiological imaging techniques for organs and body systems. Gain knowledge of key vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
- Acquire post-secondary level knowledge and understanding of contrast agents used in diagnostic imaging, as well as key diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Acquire post-secondary level knowledge and understanding of imaging techniques and protocols for computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione (applying knowledge and understanding): Dettaglio

Learning outcomes
The Teaching aims to: provide students with the tools to evaluate and interpret electrical phenomena, in order to understand the basics of electrical networks in direct and alternating current, the properties of electric fields and magnetic fields and to acquire basic knowledge on electronic components, semiconductors and digital circuits.
It is also proposed to provide introductory knowledge on the physics of ionizing radiation, essential for understanding the operation of radiological equipment, and a basic knowledge of the instrumentation and techniques for measuring environmental and personal dose, as well as to illustrate in depth the philosophical principles underlying modern radiation protection, based on ICRU documents, with particular reference to the legislation in force in Italy.
