- Understand the fundamental principles of social security law and its historical evolution.
- Know the rights and duties of the parties in the employment relationship.
- Understand the mechanisms of worker protection within the context of the social security relationship.
- Be able to interpret the relevant legislation and apply it to practical cases related to the social security relationship.
- Be able to critically evaluate legal decisions related to social security law and their influence on professional practice and society.
- Be able to communicate clearly and precisely your knowledge of social security law, both in writing and orally.

Private law and Public law.
A basic knowledge of Private law is needed.

10% of the hours: INTRODUCTORY PART, including a general overview lesson within the framework of legal subjects.
Definition, function, and sources of social security law.

45% of the hours: PART DEDICATED TO WELFARE PROTECTIONS

45% of the hours: PART DEDICATED TO PENSION PROTECTIONS

The textbook will be indicated during the lessons.

For the bibliography refer to the book above-mentioned.

The course will consist of lectures and seminars.

Attendance at lessons is not mandatory.

The exam is oral and consists of at least two questions related to the course contents
The evaluation is based on the following criteria:
- completeness of the answer;
- language skills;
- logic skills in the argumentation;
- ability to express concepts;
- ability to drop concepts into reality.

The questions will be related to the course contents, for example:
- protections against unemployment;
- the pension relationship;
- the principles outlined in Article 38 of the Constitution;
- the suspensive events of the employment relationship and the related protections.
