The teaching program aims at first giving the students the essential knowledge of the main diseases of surgical interest, in particular of vascular surgery interest.
Atherosclerotic disease and aneurysmatic disease, as well as inflammatory diseases, and organic functional impairment are analyzed and presented.
Each disease is described according to definition, epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, pathophysiology e natural clinical course.
Then, expected medical acts are discussed (prevention, diagnostic criteria, therapeutic options and nursing patient care). The course program wishes to achieve an essential panorama of the main systems surgical pathology (cardiovascular system, chest, abdomen, etc.).
