Objectives
The student should acquire in-depth knowledge of the pathophysiology of labor and the puerperium. Knowledge of principles and methods of care in different trimesters of pregnancy physiological, including the main methods and principles accompanying the birth of the independent management of pregnancy and childbirth, the prenatal diagnosis and the the monitoring of fetal biophysical, physiological and pathological puerperium.The student must also know the most important diseases that can occur during pregnancy and the emergencies that may occur during pregnancy, delivery and puerperium.The student should know and understand the changes of the urinary system function during pregnancy and its involvement in some obstetrics diseases, particularly in the obstetric emergencies.
