The course course aims to train managerial professionals which are able to hold positions of responsibility within both the public and private health structures.
The course aims to provide students an overview of the economic operative methods that the management operating in these organizations must be able to use for a proper practice of the profession.
At the end of the course, students must be able to link the empirical evidence to the most widespread economic models of the real economy. Furthermore, students have to be able to recognize the relevant dynamics which is characterizing the management of a health business organization and be able to formulate strategic hypotheses to solve business critical issues.

At the end of the module, the student must have a general view of the economic operating methodologies that personnel with managerial responsibilities operating in these organizations must be able to use for a correct managerial exercise of their profession.

The objective of the course is to provide the student with basic knowledge relating to the organization and functioning of computers. Basic knowledge relating to computer networks and application services on the Internet will also be provided, with particular reference to the use of the PubMed platform for bibliographic research in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, basic knowledge relating to the use of the main application programs for personal and business productivity will be provided with particular reference to the basic use of Excel for data analysis.

Following paragraph 5 of the Educational Regulations of the Dental Hygiene Course, the student is required to attend the educational and professional training activities of the CLID. Attendance at frontal lessons for a number of hours equal to or greater than 67% of the hours assigned to the individual modules is required, in accordance with the relevant European legislation. Attendance is verified by teachers through signature/call sheets on updated lists provided by the Teaching Secretariat according to what is established by the CCLID, on indication of the Dean's Office. The certificate of attendance to the compulsory teaching activities of a teaching course is necessary for the student to take the relevant exam.
