Learning outcomes

Module:

Module:
N/D
Module:
N/D
Module:
- Understanding the behavior of molecules that compose living organisms, with the awareness that a large portion of vital processes consists of chemical transformations.
- Knowing the reactivity of different classes of organic compounds, in order to later apply it to biomolecules and accurately interpret at a molecular level biochemical, physiological, and pathological processes, which are the objectives of more advanced courses.
- Understanding the connections between chemistry and biology.
- Integrating and utilizing theoretical knowledge of chemical and biochemical concepts to explain different biological phenomena or processes.
- Connecting and integrating acquired knowledge to apply it in subsequent courses of the study program.
- Presenting and explaining, in a simple yet rigorous manner, the chemical and biochemical phenomena and processes that underlie life.
