The course aims to provide an overview of psychological sciences in order to facilitate the acquisition of a unified concept of health and of the person through a research perspective and an evolutionary approach, relational and psychosocial. Developmental psychology, emotional and intellectual development of sexual orientation. Brief history of neuropsychiatry, boundaries between normality and pathology, diagnosis of childhood diseases, recognition of pathological situations, psychosomatic disorders.

In the complex theoretical reference framework linked to the development of motor skills understood as the acquisition of learned movement patterns, this module, concerning the methodology and teaching of motor activities in rehabilitation, has the main objective of providing the student with reflections on the peculiarities of therapeutic approach to specific functional deficits. This module therefore aims to provide the essential tools (theoretical-conceptual-practical) functional to achieving a good level of knowledge and interpretative ability of a person's potential for autonomy in the most common gestures. In particular, the patient will be framed in an integrated holistic perspective which becomes a prerequisite in the approach to any painful or dysfunctional problem. As part of this module, practical professional activities will be provided. The guidelines and recommendations for the implementation of the teaching activity will be covered. At the end of the module, students will have to demonstrate that they have acquired the cognitive elements necessary for a general framework of the rehabilitation proposals.

1. Motor and functional disability: general concepts
2. Disability in the International Classification of Functioning
3. Knowledge of the theoretical, methodological and didactic aspects of movement in different age groups.
4. Evaluation of the ability to move in space (crawling, transfers with the upper limbs, transfers with the lower limbs)
5. Postural transitions (rolling, transition from supine to sitting position, transition from lateral to sitting position, transition from sitting to quadruped, transition from quadruped to kneeling, transition from kneeling to intermediate, transition from intermediate to standing.
6. Transfers and positioning of the patient in bed
7. General and organ-specific problems related to the hospitalized patient (pain, lymphedema, alterations in voluntary motility)
8. Guidelines in rehabilitation treatment, indications and contraindications

The main general topics that the course addresses are: 1) Protective and Risk factors in adolescence; 2) Theory of mind and emotion regulation; 3) Programs for students with autism in inclusive settings.

This is a 12 hours course. This amount is approximately segmented as follows: 12 hours, mainly traditional lessons, devoted to different kinds of evaluations, risk behaviors, protective and risk factors in developmental age, evaluation and treatment of students with autism spectrum disorder.
