Module:
The module of Developmental Psychology (1cfu) aims to provide an overview of children’s psychological characteristics: cognitive, emotional and social, focusing on the areas that are of greater interest to those working in healthcare.
By the end of the course, students should know the principal themes concerning developmental psychology, as well as the actual extent of psychological knowledge of children.
They should be able to recognize the difference between notions of common sense and scientific notions regarding the child and its developmental processes, and be capable of reflecting on problems posed by interaction with children in a healthcare setting.
