The training course aims to make the student acquire fundamental standards, including legislation, to maintain and promote the health of the individual and of the community in the workplace. In particular with reference to the notions relating to the obligations of the Employer, the Competent Doctor, the worker of the Prevention and Protection Service Manager and all the figures involved in the corporate prevention system. The lessons will be aimed at the main pathologies inherent to the risks present in the work environment (chemical, physical, biological, transversal, psychosocial risk, etc.) in order to study, plan and evaluate the interventions useful for the prevention of risk and disease and for the promotion of health in living and working environments, as well as framing these activities within the health organization and planning. Fundamental elements of radiation protection will also be provided in relation to Legislative Decree 101/20 as amended. The student must know the main occupational risk factors, the main occupational diseases and accidents in their epidemiological and legislative framework, knowledge and correct use of PPE. Finally, he must know the activities of the Spresal and the essential principles of health economics, with specific regard to health in relation to health promotion activities in the workplace, the health market, the need for public intervention, the cost/ benefit of prevention, diagnosis and treatment procedures.
