Module:
The course pursues a twofold aim, both educational and informative. The topics covered concern basic cognitive and emotional processes: attention, emotion and motivation, sensation and perception, learning and memory, reasoning, decision-making, and problem solving. For each cognitive process, the instructor will explain the effects of its impairment, with reference to neuropsychology. At the beginning of the course, a brief presentation by the instructor will guide students in choosing the monographic textbook for in-depth study, which is required for the exam.
