Learning outcomes

Module:
Acquire competence in the knowledge of the main pathologies of internal medicine interest present in the community and of relevance to the occupational therapist (rheumatoid arthritis, arterial and venous pathologies of the lower limbs)
Identify the therapeutic interventions useful for the individual needs of the patient
develop the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, understanding the role of occupational therapy in the context of the disease
develop effective communication skills with patients, family members and other professional figures involved in the care of the patient

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in a post-secondary level field of study, including on cutting-edge topics in their field of study, with the support of advanced textbooks;
be able to apply the acquired knowledge to devise and argue arguments, both to solve problems and apply techniques and methods within their field of study
