Objectives

The student acquires knowledge related to the principles of elementary physics
and related applications in health care. The student addresses.
aspects of descriptive statistics, elements of probability, statistical inference,
statistical methods for qualitative and quantitative data, multivariate analysis,
sensitivity, specificity, predictive value. The student acquires the
knowledge of the fundamentals of chemistry and biochemical propaedeutics.
By the end of the course, the student must know the chemical basis
of life processes; must know how to set in molecular terms some
fundamental aspects of biology

Learning outcomes

Basic knowledge of chemistry and biochemistry
