Objectives
The course of Technological Innovation of Products and Processes intends to present the innovation management as a strategic process, proceeding from an assessment of the competitive dynamics of the market in the formulation of a strategy and its implementation. For this reason, the course is divided into three parts, the first relating to the fundamentals of the dynamics of innovation, allowing the understanding of the technology and its significant trends; a second part which presents the strategic direction and development of an innovation strategy; and a third party that concerns the process of implementing the innovation strategy, taking into account the implications of corporate structure on the processes of innovation and the development process of new products. Students who have passed the technological innovation of products and processes exam will be able to understand the role of product and process innovation as the essential basis of today's competitive capacity of the firm. The training plan will be taken into special consideration the relationship between economics and technology of production designed to grasp the role of technological innovation of product and process in terms of strategy and corporate behavior and consumer preferences.
Acquired competencies
Students who have successfully completed the examination of technological innovation of products and processes have gained expertise and insights on technological product and process, these arrangements as the fundamentals of dynamic analysis of innovation applied to different production contexts. They will also have information and expertise on the development processes of an innovation strategy, criteria for evaluating projects, strategies and collaborative mechanisms to protect property rights, methods for managing the development process of new products.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge: through the delivery of content, the student will be directed to understand the evolution of technology and specifically how technological innovation can be managed, organized and used within organizations. Also how can I influence the business activity.
Ability to apply knowledge: on the one hand with a theoretical perspective, on the other with examples that come from company cases, the course aims through a path that does not neglect so much the theoretical aspect, but rather the changes that technology experiences daily and imposes inevitably, make society understand the basic elements of this innovation.
Transversal skills and competences: the exposure of the teaching material and listening to the lessons will allow students to argue with a precise and appropriate vocabulary. The teacher will not only offer educational stimuli during the lessons but will also be available to recommend further information, which may be of useful simplification aid through articles and books relating to the discipline and which may be used throughout the entire course of study.

Exam mode
The exam takes place in written form and possibly in oral form.
If the grade of the written test is less than 25/30, the learner can refuse the grade or record the grade.
If the grade of the written test is between 25/30 and 27/30, the learner can refuse the grade or record the evaluation of 25/30 or access the oral evaluation.
If the evaluation of the written test is between 28/30 and 31/30, the learner can refuse the grade or record the evaluation of 26/30 or access the oral evaluation.
Content and evaluation method of the writings: 31 multiple choice questions. Time avalaible 45 minutes. 1 point is awarded for each correct question.
