Learning outcomes
Expected learning outcomes at the end of the Histology module:
- understand the morphology and structure of tissues
- be able to describe and interpret a histological structure
- be aware of the relationship between structure and function in tissues to understand regulatory mechanisms and human pathologies
Expected learning outcomes at the end of the Anatomy module:
Upon completion of the course, students should: (i) understand the basics of human anatomy, (ii) be able to make comparisons of the general morpho-functional organization of the various systems, and (iii) be able to describe the individual organs of the various systems from a macroscopic, topographical, and microscopic perspective using correct terminology.
Expected learning outcomes at the end of the Physiology module:
Upon completion of the course, students should understand the basics of general human anatomy, as well as the physiological mechanisms that regulate the main functions of organs and systems, with particular reference to the stomatognathic system. The course's educational objective is to provide a simplified teaching approach for an effective teaching and learning process of anatomy.
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to make comparisons of the general morpho-functional organization of the various systems and be able to describe the individual organs of the various systems from a macroscopic, topographical, microscopic, and functional perspective, using the correct terminology.
