Objectives
At the end of the course the student must know the principles of general and organic chemistry and the bases of biochemistry preparatory to the study of biology, physiology and pathology.
At the end of the course the student must be able to understand the main chemical processes that take place in the organism.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have acquired the fundamentals of inorganic and organic chemistry, physics, medical statistics, and electrical and electronic measurements. Students will understand and learn to apply the methodological tools for understanding and applying the laws governing chemistry, physics, statistics, and electrical and electronic measurements.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of high school science subjects (science, mathematics, physics) is essential. A methodological and scientific approach are equally important.
