The module A involves a cycle of introductory lectures (five weeks) on the Romanian language and culture illustrated in relation to the European cultural-historical context.
B. Syllabus (Linguistict practice Nesu)
Phonetics: alphabet; vowel and consonantal system of Romanian; vowel alternations
Morphology: article, noun, pronoun, verb
Oral exercises: greeting expressions, courtesy expressions, time indications; elements of everyday contexts (family, home, work)

The course (module A Tarantino + Lettorato Neşu) takes place on te first semester.
The module A is structured in lectures (10h). The lectures will be devoted to the exposition of the peculiar elements of the Romanian language and culture using slides accessible on the e-learning platform.
The Lettorato will include four hours of lessons per week (2h + 2h), two of which will be dedicated to the exposition and practice of grammar theory and two to oral practice: conversation, oral exposition of previously fixed topics, etc.

Attendance is not compulsory. The syllabus and exam format are the same for attending and non-attending students. Non-attending students may agree on an individual plan.

Module A (Tarantino) includes:
(a) an oral exam aimed at verifying the expository capacity of the topics covered in class, supplemented by the supporting bibliography;
The Lettorato includes a written test (2 hours) and an oral test, which will take place at the end of first semester. The written test involves solving exercises on topics covered during the semesters. The oral test will assess the skills acquired during the oral practice exercises. Both tests (written and oral) provide for a synthetic evaluation and not a score in thirtieths. The evaluations of the Lettorato tests are an integrated part of the evaluation of the final exam.
The final exam can be taken at the end of the lessons. The final grades, in thirtieths, recorded on the INFOSTUD platform, will be given considering the outcome of the oral exam of the module A (Tarantino) and the written and oral tests of Lettorato.
