Educational objectives

Knowledge and understanding: students will learn the theoretical methodologies elaborated by the "Business Administration" daily used by practioneers to define the suitable model for business valuation.
Applying knowledge and understanding: students will be able to cope with professional team engaged in business valuation from a professional perspective.
Making judgement: students will develop personal judgment skills towards business valuation cases.
Communication skills: students will develop autonomous communication skills, to be implemented along gradual entry into the professional world.
Learning skills: students will be able to place the knowledge acquired in the Bachelor's Degree at a higher level, functional to their work projection in the professional scenario that awaits them.

Educational objectives

Knowledge and understanding: students will have acquired methods for understanding the mechanisms that govern both international trade relationships and the international monetary/financial system.

Applied knowledge and understanding: students will be able to read and understand texts and documents that focus on issues related to the international specialization of countries and their commercial policies, as well as those that address topics related to the globalization of financial markets, their vulnerabilities and international macroeconomic policies. Moreover, students will have acquired the skills to understand questions related to optimal currency areas and the Euro.

Making judgement: students will develop a capacity for autonomous judgment on the fundamentals of international trade and international monetary/financial relations, in a historical, theoretical, critical and comparative perspective.

Communication skills: students will develop an attitude to economic reasoning and the ability to argue on the fundamentals of international trade and finance.

Learning skills: students will be able to continue in post-lauream specialization courses.

Educational objectives

Knowledge and understanding: students will get familiar with the subject of public finance and the instruments used in related activities. They will become aware of the different methods used in the literature to analyse the topics relevant to the discipline, will learn to interpret the results and to critically face the problematics of public finance.
Applying knowledge and understanding: students will be able to make use of the basic concepts of public finance, judge the appropriateness of public intervention, effective and potential. They will learn to reconstruct different scenarios and anticipate possible results of public intervention, so as to be able to define their informed position regarding the choice to support or not the policy proposals under debate (such as for example ‘flat tax rate’, ‘citizen’s income’).
Making judgement: students will develop the ability to express their motivated point of view regarding different problematics of public finance and to consider the contrasting views.
Communication skills: students will learn to discuss in a constructive way the different problematics of public finance.
Learning skills: students will develop the ability to orient among different sources of data relevant for public finance, so as to be able to get informed according to their future needs, and to have a broader and updated view of what is going on in the field.

Knowledge and understanding: students will be able to analyse (comprehension, interpretation and discussion) an extensive variety of texts (both spoken and written) used by scholars, professionals and experts in the social sciences. English is in an international context and seen as the instrument for the diffusion of knowledge: in this light, it becomes the platform for the discussion of interdisciplinary and intercultural themes.
Applying knowledge and understanding: Students will apply this knowledge in a wide range of activities where students will debate and discuss topics fluently and convincingly. They will also be able to produce clear, well-structured written texts expressing a point of view or to argue a position.
Making judgement: students will develop an awareness of English as the instrument for the diffusion of knowledge world-wide. They will understand the importance of being able to participate effectively and productively in “The Knowledge Society” of today.

This could be research into a bibliography, for example, or an empirical investigation, related to a subject treated during the degree programme, and related to one or more of the courses included in the curriculum.
