Educational objectives Knowledge and understanding: students will have acquired methods for understanding the mechanisms that govern both international trade relationships and the international monetary/financial system. Applied knowledge and understanding: students will be able to read and understand texts and documents that focus on issues related to the international specialization of countries and their commercial policies, as well as those that address topics related to the globalization of financial markets, their vulnerabilities and international macroeconomic policies. Moreover, students will have acquired the skills to understand questions related to optimal currency areas and the Euro. Making judgement: students will develop a capacity for autonomous judgment on the fundamentals of international trade and international monetary/financial relations, in a historical, theoretical, critical and comparative perspective. Communication skills: students will develop an attitude to economic reasoning and the ability to argue on the fundamentals of international trade and finance. Learning skills: students will be able to continue in post-lauream specialization courses. | |||||
