Programme

General and background concepts: technical and physical principles of the main diagnostic imaging examinations; examinations and protocols for performing radiation therapy treatments; operation of radiation therapy machines (LINCA; centering CT); IMRT; VMAT; BRACHITERAPY; STEREOTASSIC RADIOTHERAPY; TPS; components of a LINAC; safety in radiation therapy rooms;

Books

For the completion of the exam, in-depth theoretical study is recommended from the very beginning of course attendance. For the purpose of reference and further study, texts and Ppts used during the lectures will be provided.
