Through the analysis of some parts of the Essais, we will try to demonstrate in Montaigne´s philosophical thought, together with , on the gnoseological level, the most typical concepts of the ancient and modern skepticism, the presence of epicurean positions, in which it is possible to recognize that which we may call the ´part construens´ of his philosophical vision, throught which the gnoseological skepticism of the philosopher , receives , on the practical field, a positive and pragmatic character.
