The purpose of this course is to provide an advanced understanding of the constitutional and material questions of the EU Law, the functioning of the European Union institutions and the legislation made under the Treaties. This course will also aim at giving basic knowledge on the proceedings in front of the European Court of Justice and on topics as citizenship and non-discrimination. At the end of the course the students will be familiar with the basic rules governing the EU. |

Particular emphasis is given to the Green Economy sectors that have significantly contributed to the generation of green energy and energy savings through energy efficiency. A part of application and field testing has been included in the Module, called the Laboratory of Energy efficiency. |

Students who passed the examination will have acquired knowledge of the main business localization models . The view gained from the first models will range localization based on the cost of transport to reach the current models to create a territorial system of all the elements for the localization choices of entrepreneurs. In particular, the student will have an in depth idea about the different opportunities for small and large enterprises in a globalized environment.
Acquired skills
Students, who passed the examination will be able to identify the optimal location based on business theories and models, developing a systemic spatial analysis of. They will also have the skills to set localization simulations as well as a model for the analysis of structural and infrastructural strengths and weaknesses of individual areas seen as socio-economic regions. Students will finally be able to develop interdisciplinary links. |
