Graduation
The Study Programme is completed by a final test which consists of the presentation and discussion of an original project (thesis) in front of an appointed Committee. The thesis must contain the results that the student achieved during the course of an important theoretical, experimental or planning activity regarding the Mechanical Engineering sectors. The thesis must be developed under the guidance of a Professor that belongs to the responsible Area Committee. Through the thesis the student must demonstrate that he/she mastered the studied topic, his/her ability to work independently and a good level of communication skills.
The thesis preparation can also be carried out in public or private companies, as well as in research centers or university laboratories, for a period of time that must be consistent with the number of credits awarded.
