To be admitted to the Masters Degree in Environmental and Sustainable Building Engineering, applicants must possess a three-year University Degree or Diploma or equivalent academic qualification obtained abroad and recognized as valid by Italian laws.
They must also possess the curricular requisites and personal preparation which correspond to the preparatory knowledge and methods required to tackle the contents of the Masters Degree Programme.
The curricular requisites that are necessary to be admitted to the Masters Degree Programme are:
- Holding a Degree of the 4 or 8 Degree classes (509/99 Ministerial Decree), L23 or L7 (270/04 Ministerial Decree);
- Having achieved the credits specified below:
At least 25 credits in the following Scientific Disciplinary Sectors FIS/01, GEO/05, MAT/05,MAT/07, ICAR/17, ICAR/18
At least 40 credits in the following Scientific Disciplinary Sectors ICAR/10, ICAR/11, ICAR/12, ICAR/14, ICAR/20, ICAR/21, ICAR/22, MED/42
At least 20 credits in the following Scientific Disciplinary Sectors ICAR/06, ICAR/07, ICAR/08, ICAR/09
At least 20 credits in the following Scientific Disciplinary Sectors ICAR/01, ICAR/02, ICAR/03, ING-IND/11
For a total of 105 Credits
Students are also required to have a good command of written and spoken English, which must be equivalent to the B2 level, and must be either certified by the student or evaluated through an exam which is held according to the procedures indicated in the Academic Regulations of the Study Programme.
Any curricular integration requirements in terms of credits must be fulfilled before the evaluation of the personal preparation of the students.
The adequacy of the preparation of the students is assessed through an interview. After the interview students are given a certificate that states if their preparation is sufficient, adequate or insufficient to be admitted to the Masters Degree Programme. If the result is insufficient, students are not allowed to register.
