Graduation

Final exams procedure t

The final exam includes a placement/internship period, on which the student will write a thesis. The placement/internship activities can be carried out through an “internal” thesis (supervised by a lecturer) or in a company or public body, where a corporate member acts as coordinator. The activity consists of a theoretical or project/experimental work on topics of interest for the graduand, and its validity as a learning activity is stated by the supervisor who follows its progress.
It is possible to complete the degree programme studies both with a job-oriented activity and with an experience leading the graduate to enrol in a Masters degree programme.

The final exam follows the submission of a written thesis describing the activities carried out during a placement/internship period. A presentation of this thesis will be adequately arranged by the student. The placement/internship activities can be carried out through an “internal” thesis (supervised by a lecturer) or in a company. It is possible to complete the degree programme studies both with a job-oriented activity and with an experience leading the graduate to enrol in a Masters degree programme. The dissertation panel, composed of at least seven members, listens to the graduand’s presentation during a graduation session that was publicly announced, and, after  requesting the supervisor/contact lecturer’s opinion, proceeds to define the student’s final grades out of 110. The final exam corresponds to 3 credits.
