Isee 2019 for university right to study

 

If you want to pay the enrollment fees based on your ISEE, you should go to a Caf as soon as possible and ask for the Isee 2019 value for the right to university study. 

It takes several weeks to calculate the Isee. Who does not declare Isee for the right to university study pays the contributions to the maximum expected value.

• copy of the certified exam certificate *

• translation into Italian of the program of each exam taken (if the programs are in English may not be translated) or a copy of the Diploma Supplement

• receipt for payment of the €10  form

 

*The degree and the exam certification must be legalized by the embassy or consulate of the country to which the school belongs.

Example: for an English qualification obtained in Egypt, the declaration of value must be made by the Italian consulate in London.

 

Tax Note

If you do not have a tax domicile in Italy or declare your income abroad, you will pay a fixed amount.

The amounts are indicated on the University website (differentiated for developing and non-developing countries)

Enrol in the Programme

After receiving the positive outcome of the verification of the requirements and the personal preparation, by 31 January 2020 you will need to present the following documents to the Hello-Foreign Students Sector:

• photocopy of the identity document;

• photocopy of the residence permit (only if you come from a non-EU country);

• the diploma/degree completed by the competent Italian diplomatic representative.

 

The educational qualification must be translated, legalized, with a declaration of value issued by the embassy or consulate of the country to which the school belongs.

Example: for an English qualification obtained in Egypt, the declaration of value must be made by the Italian consulate in London.

The office will give you the form with the amount to pay for enrollment in the study course, after everything has been checked.

Embassy application by July 24, 2019

If you are an extra EU citizen legally residing abroad (in Europe or in extra-EU countries) you must go to the Italian diplomatic representative in your country by 24 July 2019 to submit the pre-registration application (form A).

If you want to pay the enrollment fees based on your Isee, you must be having regularly residing in Italy, with tax domicile, for at least 1 year.

In this case, you should go to a Caf as soon as possible and ask for the Isee 2019 value for the right to university study.

It takes several weeks to calculate the Isee. The Isee calculated at the Caf must be presented to the Administrative Office which will proceed to enter it on the Infostud system, after it has been checked. You will have to bring the ISEE to the Office by the deadline for payment of the first installment of contributions.

TTo be admitted to the masters degree programme you need to meet the curricular requirements and have an appropriate personal preparation.

 

Curricular requirements

The curricular requirements are the ones below:

(a) a 3-year degree or university diploma, or other adequate educational qualifications gained abroad.

(b) at least 90 Credits (ECTS/CFU) in the set of Academic Disciplines (SSD) below:

- Mathematics and Computer Science: MAT/*, INF/01

- Physics: FIS/*

- Economics and Statistics: SECS-P/*, SECS-S/*

- Industrial and Information Technology Engineering: ING-IND/*, ING-INF/*

- Biology: BIO/*

- Law: IUS/*

(c) B2 level, or higher, English language knowledge.

 

These curricular requirements seek to ensure access to the degree programme for all the graduates in the degree classes L-8 (Information Technology Engineering), L-31 (Computer Science) e L-41 (Statistics), as well as graduates in the degree classes L-18 (Economics and Management), L-30 (Physics), L-33 (Economics) and L-35 (Mathematics) and in the corresponding classes referred to in the D.M. 509/1999.

 

Knowledge verification procedures

(A) without the conditions (a) and (b) enrolment in the degree programme is not allowed.

(B) For students who satisfy conditions (a) and (b), the adequacy of the personal preparation shall be assessed based on the results achieved in educational qualification used for the purposes of admission to the masters degree programme. In particular, the personal preparation shall be verified relative to the knowledge below:

1. Mathematics: Differential and integral calculus for functions of one or more real variable; elements of linear algebra and analytic geometry in the plane.

2. Probability: random variables, distributions of expected values; main models of random variables; convergence for successions of random variables.

3. Computer Science: Programming principles; at least one programming language amongst C, C++, C#, Java, Python. The above-mentioned knowledge shall be verified by a proper Selection Board, appointed by the Educational Area Committee, that will automatically approve the admission to the masters degree programme for candidates with at least:

 

1. 12 Credits in the Academic Discipline MAT/03 (Geometry), MAT/05 (Mathematical Analysis)

2. 6 Credits in the Academic Discipline MAT/06 (Probability) 3. 6 Credits in the Academic Discipline INF/01 (Computer Science) or ING-INF/05 (Data Processing Systems)

Students who did not achieve the above-mentioned Credits will have to attend an interview to have the knowledge required verified.

 

(C) Students without a level B2 English language certificate or who did not achieve at least 3 Credits in English exams (including qualifying exams without a grade), will have to attend an interview to have their English language knowledge verified.
