As in previous years there will be a 30-hour English course to prepare students for the IELTS exam.

 

There will be an assessment test to assess level on 25 February at 17.00.

The course will start on 2nd March and will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 17.00-19.00

As well as reading, listening is essential for meeting new vocabulary and for seeing grammar in context. It’s also very important for improving your pronunciation.

If your listening is already good, I really recommend TED talks, so here is a nice one about the queen bee.

 

If you want something around a B1 level, try Six-minute English on the BBC. This one is about genetics

 

There are a wide range of topics, so you can choose something you’re interested in whenever you have six minutes to spare!
