Erasmus +
Erasmus + is the new mobility programme promoted by the EU, which has been in force since 1 January 2014, which integrates the 7 previous programmes: Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig), Youth in Action, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink, ICI.
With Erasmus +, students can spend a period of time studying abroad, attending courses and taking exams, or preparing their final exam. The study period lasts from 3 to 12 months at a European University or which is part of the Programme and participants, at the end of their course, can validate the didactic activities carried out.
To get an idea, students can consult some of the learning agreements that have already been approved, bearing in mind, however, that these are just some examples and that it is possible to choose and arrange other learning agreements with the RAM.

Furthermore, the Degree Course Council for Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology has adopted criteria relating to student mobility and the official validation of study periods abroad which can be consulted on the dedicated page in the Navigation menu.
How to participate
To participate in the programme, you must participate in the Erasmus + call for study (Pharmacy and Biotechnology Area) issued annually by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine.
Within the announcement, in addition to the procedures regarding how to participate and the relative deadline, you can also find information on the possible destinations, including the number of places provided and the names of the teachers promoting the agreements.

The RAM establishes learning agreements with Erasmus + students before they leave. After the conclusion of their study period, internship or research abroad and after verification of the transcript of records received from the foreign university, the RAM validates the ECTS credits acquired.
The Erasmus Administrative Manager of the Faculty (RAEF) can provide applicants with information regarding administrative procedures together with the more general aspects of the Erasmus Call.

Every year, Sapienza offers its students of three-year and masters degree courses and doctorates (provided they have no existing scholarship) the opportunity to spend a period of study, to take exams or do a research dissertation in one of over 140 non-EU institutions with which there are bilateral agreements in force with the University (also called additional protocols). The Erasmus + International Credit Mobility programme (ICM) is a project promoted and funded by the European Union, which provides students with the possibility to study in non-EU destinations. The programme is open to students of all faculties. Go to the non EU mobility page on the university website.
The scholarships for theses abroad are for students regularly enrolled, as regards the single-cycle master's degree courses, in the penultimate or last year of the course, who wish to carry out part of their work to prepare the thesis abroad at institutions, foreign or community companies, or at supra-national or international institutions of adequate scientific and cultural level.
The thesis work abroad must take place for a period of at least two continuous months.
The scholarship is awarded each year on the basis of a competition announcement issued by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine.

The call, based on qualifications and exams, is for new graduates and foresees scholarships for the attendance of courses or specialization activities at foreign and international university-level institutions.

Unipharma-Graduate Scholarships (Erasmus +)
The Unipharma-Graduate Consortium, coordinated by Sapienza University, whose partners include the University of Roma Tre, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Alma Mater Studiorum – the University of Bologna, the University of Catania, the University of Studies of Milan-Bicocca, the University of Padua and the University of Siena, annually offers mobility scholarships for internships at European research centres in the chemical, pharmaceutical, pharmacological, biological and biotechnological fields.
