General Instructions

To book for any elective exam through the INFOSTUD system, it is necessary to have submitted a Study Plan and have it had approved.

For any issues relative to Study Plans, students may contact (by appointment to be fixed via email):

- Prof. M. De Santis (marianna.desantis@uniroma1.it)

Submission of the Study Plan (or the modification of a previously approved one) can occur only once per Academic Year, in one of the two time windows available.

20 september - 20 november

10 march - 10 may

Study Plans submitted outside these time windows will not be accepted.

The last Study Plan submitted and approved replaces the one presented and approved previously.

Students who do not intend to change the previously approved Study Plan must not submit a new one.

If the Study Plan is rejected, the modified study plan must be submitted again as suggested in the reasons for the refusal.

Students should consider that the approval of the Study Plans is not immediate.

In order to complete and gain the Bachelor’s Degree, it is necessary to have submitted a Study Plan and that this has been approved. Furthermore, it is required that the exams taken correspond exactly to those listed in the approved Study Plan.

Students must comply with the following indications for the Study Plan to be approved:

within the management system of the Study Plans, the students must

1) select the curriculum called “Management Engineering (Training path valid also to achieve the double Degree Italian-French and Italian-Venezuelan)”;

2) select exams exclusively on the basis of the Programme Regulations corresponding to the Academic Year of enrolment (downloadable at the following link:  http://www.ingegneriagestionale.uniroma1.it/?q=drupal/qnode/5559/chi-siamo/manifesti);

3) select the “Calculus of Probability” Course among the first-year courses and the Course “Institutions of Economics” among the second-year courses;

4) On the third year, 12 credits (ECTS) must be selected, choosing from 6 credit courses (laboratories cannot be chosen). It is strongly recommended to select the courses "Statistics" and "Analysis of economic systems";

5) if you want to select the "Statistics" course, add it to the third year;

6) if you want to select the course "Analysis of economic systems", add it to the third year;

7) In the study plan it is necessary to include only one laboratory, the one that you choose to take as a qualifying exam. The laboratory not included in the study plan may be used as a final exam.

Students enrolled before the Academic Year 2011/2012

The Study Plans can be submitted no later than March 31st of each Academic Year. Derogation on this date is ONLY provided for students in ERASMUS during the submission period of the Plans. These students are required to submit the Study Plan upon their return to Italy.

The submission takes place through the website www.didatticaingegneria.it

The student must register on the website (if not yet registered), choose one of the available Manifestos and complete the Study Plan. Pay particular attention to the choice of the Manifesto – General Regulations for Sapienza Students corresponding to your situation.

After receiving approval confirmation via email that the Plan has been approved, the student must print, sign and deliver within 7 days from the approval confirmation date the Plan in an envelope, with the title: “PIANO DI STUDIO LAUREA DM 509”. The delivery must take place by inserting the envelope in the Management Engineering mailbox located on the ground floor of the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering in via Ariosto 25.
