The Masters Degree Course (LM51) in Psychology Applied to Health, Work, and Juridical-Forensic Contexts is aimed at training psychologists expert in planning, realising, and verifying interventions for the solution of individual, organisational, and juridical-forensic issues, and for the promotion and development of people and groups. The Programme supplies theoretical and methodological competences shared by various contexts of application of psychology and necessary for the evaluation of personality and social-relational adaptation, the planning and realisation of interventions, the collection of data, and the verification of the effectiveness of the interventions performed. Moreover, the psychologist trained in this Course will acquire specific professional competences, useful in the world of work from as early as the post-lauream internship. The above-mentioned competences will allow to operate in one of the following three professional areas: health, work and organisations, and the juridical-forensic context. Graduates can pursue a third-level training (specialisation schools and PhD) as well, both in Italy and abroad. The courses supplying the competences in common with the various application contexts, guaranteeing the educational coherence of the Programme, are about the evaluation of personality and the analysis of individual and organisational behaviour, the techniques of data analysis, and the techniques of assessment and counselling. The Programme offers the additional competences needed to operate in specific contexts. The purpose is to train a psychologist able to use the needed tools and knowledge for evaluation and diagnosis, the planning and realisation of interventions of prevention and health promotion, and interventions of psychological-clinical consultation in group and individual contexts. The technical-psychological specifications will be contextualised within evaluable models, and it will be highlighted a training that helps to develop a theoretical and methodological knowledge on the evidence-based interventions and on the critical skills in their usage. The main educational areas proposed are the following: Techniques of psychological evaluation: advanced theories and techniques of psychological evaluation of personality and cognitive, emotional, motivational, and self-regulating functions, useful for the promotion of health and individual and common well-being, and for the prevention of pathologies; a useful training to develop competences in planning, conducting, and evaluating psychological interventions aimed at health promotion and distress prevention. The above-mentioned educational areas will be proposed by means of courses on the knowledge of conscience and emotional processes and their regulation, health psychology, clinical psychology, diagnosis and psychological intervention, the analysis of risk factors, and the methodology of clinical research for the evaluation of interventions. Furthermore, the education areas will be focused on developing the needed competences for the promotion and development of individuals and groups' abilities and potentialities in work contexts, and the promotion of individuals, groups, and organisations' wellbeing. The development of these competences is related to the acquisition of a theoretical and methodological knowledge typical of this area, of a cross knowledge connected to the organisational functioning, and of a knowledge in line with the recent progress of psychology, the cultural changes, and the technological transformations of work environments and processes. More in detail, the goal is to develop the following competences: control on the main models and methods for organisational reading and planning, for performance and potential evaluation in work contexts, and for the development of persons, groups, and organisations (psychosocial training, coaching, and counselling); control on the methods for work and work processes analysis, for the recruitment, selection, and integration of persons in work contexts, for the evaluation of their relationship with the technologies for information management, for the analysis of risk factors, for the management of work stress, for the protection of safety, and for health promotion in a work context. The above-mentioned educational areas will be presented and developed by means of courses on the decision-making processes, the information management, the theories and techniques of selection process, the organisational training and development, evaluation, and talent management. The purpose is to supply a professionalising training starting from the psychological knowledge needed to operate in juridical and forensic contexts. It will supply the main cognitive tools related to the cognitive and emotional processes, as well as to personality in comparison to the significant aspects in situations of civil and penal evaluation. It will also supply the reference system useful for the reading of psychological processes in situations related to juridical and forensic contexts. The main educational areas at the base of the course are about: individual and group psychological evaluation with juridical and forensic purposes, in civil and penal areas, as for adults and minors; competences in the planning of interventions of promotion of legality, risk prevention, and violent behaviours, at individual, institutional, and social level. The above-mentioned educational areas will be developed by means of courses on the effects of traumas on the cognitive processes, the mnemic processes in witnessing, psychology applied to juridical contexts, the decision-making processes applied to juridical contexts, and family mediation. All students will have 3 ECTS for practical activities of internship, stages, and other educational activities, and 15 ECTS for the final thesis. The student has also 18 ECTS for the elective courses, so that he/she can integrate his/her education by passing two elective exams coherent with one's educational training.
Gli Studenti acquisiscono autonomia di giudizio attraverso la presentazione di materiale (articoli da commentare, relazioni tecniche da valutare, individuare errori in sequenze filmiche artatamente costruite o reperite in letteratura) che viene esaminato, analizzato e valutato. Gli Studenti sono incoraggiati ad intervenire e ad esprimersi rispetto agli argomenti trattati ed approfonditi nelle lezioni e nei laboratori.
I laureati saranno in grado di acquisire in maniera autonoma e critica le informazioni necessarie a sviluppare i metodi appresi nel corso dell’itinerario universitario a livello di pratica professionale e di ricerca.
Tale autonomia viene verificata attraverso recensioni critiche di articoli, esame di prodotti e individuazione di criticità e possibili correttivi.
Vengono sviluppate nell'ambito di Laboratori in cui vengono utilizzati metodi che incoraggiano gli Studenti ad effettuare presentazioni in pubblico, a partecipare a simulazioni e ad effettuare lavori di gruppo. Inoltre gli Studenti sviluppano capacità comunicative in attività specifiche di laboratorio e nella preparazione della tesi.
Gli Studenti impareranno a comunicare con personale medico, paramedico, con dirigenti e quadri aziendali con professionisti del settore giuridico forense. Particolare attenzione viene data allo sviluppo della capacità di comunicare in lavoro di equipe e in modalità di cooperazione con altre figure professionali nonché con gli utenti delle specifiche prestazioni previste dagli ambiti della Psicologia applicata nei contesti della salute, del lavoro e giuridico-forense.
Le abilità comunicative sono verificate attraverso specifiche presentazioni e simulazioni.
Le capacità di apprendimento sono sviluppate attraverso tecniche di apprendimento esperienziale (learning by doing), roleplaying, approfondimenti teorici con opportuni confronti.
Le capacità di apprendimento serviranno anche a sviluppare ulteriori percorsi di approfondimento e ampliare le conoscenze in modo autonomo.
Lo Studente sarà in grado di selezionare in modo critico le informazioni utili per applicare le informazioni apprese durante il percorso universitario al mondo della pratica professionale.
Tali capacità saranno verificate attraverso specifiche prove di abilità nell'individuare nodi critici in articoli e in situazioni simulate.
