art. 1 - Cycles:

Each cycle of the Path of Excellence lasts two years and involves students of the fourth and fifth year of the degree course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology.

art. 2 - Places available:

The number of places available for the Path of Excellence is established year by year by the Degree Programme Profile in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and made known by public notice on the course website, before the publication of the call for applications for the procedure.

art. 3 - Access requirements:

Access to the Path of Excellence through an application in accordance with the terms and procedures indicated in the relevant announcement.

The requirements are:

These skills will be acquired through the study and analysis of scientific articles, published in peer-review journals with a high impact factor and related to the subject of scientific research.

Module two: Acquisition, under the guidance of a tutor, of the methodologies and tools needed to conduct an experimental scientific study, with an in-depth study of the problems related to the relative basic research,  which will be normally different from the one where the student is doing for the experimental dissertation. The reference tutor will provide students with the information necessary to identify the most correct methodology to be used for their experimental scientific study, also through brief exercises regarding the use of suitable instruments available in the research laboratories.

Students on request can do part of the Path of Excellence at another Italian or foreign University, Higher Education Institute or Research Organization.

Erasmus students who carry out a part of their studies at a foreign University and have access to the Path of Excellence will be able to participate in the Path of Excellence at the foreign institution.
