Attendance

The Degree Programme is taught in Italian, but a few courses are taught in English

The lessons are organized in 2 semesters:

  • 1° semester: from the last week of Septempre to few days before Christmas;
  • 2° semester: from the last week of February to the first week of June.

The lessons are planned from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.: the hours of lessons per week are 8 for 9 ECTS and 5 for 6 ECTS courses, respectively.

All lessons are planned at the San Pietro in Vincoli university pole.  

5 regular exam sessions are planned for each year at January, February, June, July and September: 2 additional sessions are provided, in October and in March, which are reserved to  the students who have not completed the exams at the end of the 2nd year

The Programme may be personalized by the students, who may choose the subject that they are interested in . Students may also personalize their curriculum through the elective subjects, which amount to a total of 12 credits.

Students must submit a study plan to formalize their choices.

The Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering Academic Committee assesses whether the choices made by the students are consistent with the educational outcomes. If the choices made by the students match the requirements of the Committee, the Committee will approve the study plans.

Students may submit their study plan only once during the period that goes from the 1st of October to 20th of March of the following year.

he excellence programme is a programme that provides students with additional training activities compared to those provided by the study programmes in which they are enrolled.  Students who have completed an excellence programme will receive a certificate that will be registered in the student's  academic career documentation. Thee University will also grant the student a prize which is equal to the fees of the last year of their Programme.

The admission requirements and the procedures that must be followed to carry out the activities are specified in the call for applications of the Study Programmes which are published during each academic year.
