The course aims to provide students with basic cultural and professional knowledge to intervene with essential skills in healthcare processes within the professional field of general clinical and pediatric nursing sciences. By the end of the course, the student will understand and be able to apply the nursing process in clinical settings.

The method of teaching will be mainly frontal instruction using presentations and explanations. To reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired, medical equipment will be shown and used. Student will be also required to collaborate in small group in order to complete projects.
