Learning outcomes

At the end of the Course, the student will be able to define the Nursing knowledge domain and development, explain the benefit of Nursing Research for Citizens, discuss the fundamental aims of Nursing Research, define and discuss priority areas of Nursing Research, quantitative and qualitative methods study design; explain the Nursing research process and peculiarities; perform a bibliography search on Nursing phenomena and discuss the results; use bibliography search results in a specific field of interest; demonstrate capacity in reading and discussing a research article; discuss ethical involvement in Nursing research; be able to define a research statement and questions; discuss Evidence-Based Nursing and implications in clinical practice.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that students have attended and passed the CLINICAL SCIENTIFIC METHODS examination.
