Learning outcomes

At the end of the professional skills laboratories, students will be able to integrate theoretical knowledge with professional skills by applying clinical reasoning in simulated learning environments. They will apply the nursing process, appropriately use professional methods and tools, ensure patient safety, and collaborate effectively within healthcare teams. Students will also develop decision-making, reflective, and communication skills to manage progressively complex care situations.

Prerequisites

Recommended resources include the textbooks adopted in the Degree Programme, national and international clinical guidelines, institutional procedures and protocols, and updated scientific literature relevant to the laboratory activities.

Lessons mode

Learning activities take place in protected simulation environments through practical exercises, clinical simulations, case discussions, collaborative learning, and structured debriefing. Laboratory contents are defined annually by the Degree Programme according to educational objectives and the evolving needs of healthcare practice.
