Ability to understand and discuss the etiological and pathogenetic mechanisms of a pathology

Prerequisites

The student must know structures and functions of the different cell types and kinds of tissues of the human body, and must know the biochemistry of the main biological macromolecules.

Programme

Study of advanced topics and state of the art in biomedical research and biotechnology, in particular about regenerative medicine, gene therapy and advanced techniques for molecular diagnostics.
