Roles and Responsibilities of Prevention Figures Employer (Datore di lavoro): Responsible for ensuring health and safety in the workplace, carrying out risk assessments, drafting the Risk Assessment Document (DVR), and appointing prevention and protection personnel. Prevention and Protection Service Manager (RSPP): Assists the employer in identifying risks and planning prevention and protection measures. Competent Doctor (Medico competente): Conducts health surveillance and evaluates the fitness of workers for their specific duties. Workers’ Safety Representative (RLS): Represents workers on safety issues and promotes communication between workers and management. Supervisors (Preposti): Ensure that safety procedures are respected and that workers apply the required preventive measures.
