Module: CHILD NEUROPSYCHIATRY
To fully comprehend the contents of the Child Neuropsychiatry module, it is useful for students to possess basic knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and developmental psychology. Prior knowledge of the general principles of pediatric rehabilitation is important. No formal mandatory prerequisites are required beyond those established by the Study Programme regulations.

Module: CHILD NEUROPSYCHIATRY
The module uses a combination of different teaching methods designed to ensure both theoretical knowledge and practical-clinical skills essential for a rehabilitation sciences professional.
Teaching methods:
• Lectures / Traditional teaching: Dedicated to the systematic presentation and theoretical deep-dive of the core syllabus topics.
• Clinical case studies: Interactive classroom discussions of complex clinical cases (via videos or anonymized clinical reports) to encourage applying knowledge to multidisciplinary rehabilitation practice.
• Flipped Classroom / Cooperative learning: Group reading and shared discussion of national/international clinical guidelines for neurodevelopmental disorder rehabilitation.
The primary delivery mode is in-person teaching (traditional classroom setting).

Attendance is compulsory as established by the academic regulations of the Master's Degree . The minimum attendance threshold required to receive the attendance certificate and access the final exam is 75% of the total lecture hours delivered for the module. Attendance is recorded in class via sign-in sheets or digital registration.

The learning assessment for the Integrated Course is conducted in a unified and integrated manner through an oral exam. Instructors from all modules collegially participate in the final grading process, avoiding separate tests or a simple mathematical average of single module scores.
Evaluation criteria and grading scale:
• 30% accuracy and completeness of theoretical content: Knowledge of clinical pictures, psychomotor milestones, and main child neuropsychiatry pathologies.
• 30% clinical application capacity: Ability to link theoretical notions to the planning and supervision of multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs.
• 20% critical reasoning skills: Ability to critically analyze complex clinical cases proposed during the exam.
• 20% vocabulary and communication: Correct use of medical, scientific, and rehabilitative terminology specific to the discipline.
The minimum passing grade (18/30) requires basic but accurate knowledge of the core syllabus concepts and minimally appropriate language. Higher grades (up to 30/30 with honors) will be awarded based on expository precision, interdisciplinary connections, independent clinical judgment, and overall excellence.
For incoming international mobility students (Erasmus), there is the option to take the exam in English and arrange a customized study plan.
