The study program in general pedagogy offers a broad and in-depth view of the educational processes and the factors that influence human learning, addressing both the theoretical and practical aspects of education. Students gain an understanding of the main pedagogical and psychological theories, exploring how individuals develop and learn throughout life. The ways in which curiosity and motivation can be stimulated in students are analyzed, promoting meaningful learning and the inclusion of all individuals, regardless of their differences. At the same time, attention is given to the social and cultural context in which educational processes take place, understanding how inequalities and differences impact access to and the quality of education.

To enroll in the General Pedagogy course, a solid background in the humanities is required, particularly in subjects related to psychology, sociology, and philosophy, which are essential for pursuing pedagogical studies. Basic skills in written and oral language, as well as a strong aptitude for critical thinking, are also required.
