Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
Know the different types of anesthetics used during surgical procedures and the supporting anesthesiological medical procedures;
Understand the basics of surgical emergency procedures to be used during operations on the following organs: small intestine, colon, rectum, and abdomen;
Understand the main rehabilitation techniques to be used during respiratory physiotherapy.

The following will be assessed: acquisition of a correct diagnostic approach, including differential diagnosis, with particular attention to anamnestic aspects; acquisition of the theoretical foundations of pharmacological, orthotic, physiotherapy, and surgical treatment indications and protocols.
In relation to each of the points listed above, the following parameters will be assessed: knowledge and understanding of the topic, analytical and synthesis skills, in-depth analysis, and presentation skills.
