Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will have acquired basic knowledge of the organization of the healthcare system and the role of management in the coordination of services and resources. They will be familiar with the fundamental principles of bioethics and professional ethics, with particular attention to legal aspects and the ethical code of healthcare professions, especially regarding informed consent.
In the field of legal medicine, students will understand the objectives and methods of the discipline, the concept of causal relationship, and the main aspects of professional liability. The course will address topics such as healthcare treatments, criminal responsibility and accountability, crimes against life and personal safety, and personal rights in the civil law context.
Prerequisites
To pass the exame, we suggesta theoretical deedening already frome the beginning of the course attendance.

Obligations of reporting infective and diffusive diseases; outlines on social insurances; civil law forensic medicine (juridical faculty and power of action, interdiction, disqualification). Professional ethics. Consent of the assignee; professional secret; failure to assist; patient’s medical chart; obligations resulting from the law on drugs; professional responsibility of the professional.

Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation, Training, Research, Management
• REGULATIONS: from the Ministerial Decree on the Professional Profile to Law 42/99 on healthcare professions, autonomy, and responsibility, to Law 251/2000 on the possibility of management; specialist degrees, master's degrees, and doctorates; Law 43/2006, the Gelli-Bianco Law on professional liability, Law 3/18 on the Establishment of Orders and Registers, up to the establishment of the Order of Physiotherapists.
The evolutionary process of the profession and the discipline of physiotherapy; the concepts of autonomy and responsibility of the physiotherapist in the practice of the profession; the functions of the physiotherapist and the relationships of interdependence with other professions.

Act as indicated in the Code of Ethics towards individuals, colleagues, and the healthcare organizations in which one is involved.

Lessons mode
The instructor delivers lectures using a traditional teaching approach, supported by audiovisual aids, and according to the class schedule available on the GOMP Classroom/Timetable System and published on the Degree Program website.
Frequency
Following the Regulations of the CdS, the student is required to attend educational activities, formal, non-formal, vocational. The attendance is checked by the teachers through signature / roll call, based on updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CCL. The certificate of attendance to the course is mandatory and required to the student to be admitted at the final exam.
Exam mode
The learner must pass a written exam consisting of multiple-choice quizzes. The exam is considered passed only if the learner achieves a passing score in all the integrated modules required by the course.
