THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING
Course objectives
To understand the fundamental concepts and methodological principles of physics applied to medicine, particularly in relation to mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism, with a focus on their relevance to the nursing profession, and with examples of application in the following areas: the human body, biomedical instrumentation, and biomedical procedures. To understand the biochemical foundations of metabolism; water and the properties of aqueous solutions; amino acids and proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids; the structure and function of the cell; biological reactions and enzymes; genetic information within the cell, cell replication, and patterns of genetic inheritance.
