Objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the main applications of diagnostic imaging, with particular reference to contrast examinations in X-Ray, to the study protocols in spiral CT and in Magnetic Resonance, with reference also to functional studies.
Learning outcomes
Acquire basic skills regarding indications for imaging and radiological semiology in order to understand the clinical needs behind the execution of examinations. This will help improve the implementation of technical skills in daily practice and promote effective collaboration among healthcare professionals involved in diagnostic imaging. Practical principles of dose control in CT in relation to clinical needs.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of human anatomy.
