Learning outcomes

The graduate in Prevention Techniques must be able to apply knowledge and understanding in the field of food safety, the safety of water intended for human use, waste disposal, air pollution, and workplace safety, also acquiring elements of environmental legislation. Furthermore, they must be able, completely independently, to carry out inspections of the various situations within their area of expertise in order to verify compliance with current legislation.

Prerequisites

To be admitted to the Bachelor's degree program, it is necessary to have a high school diploma or another recognized qualifying qualification; in addition, an adequate preparation in subjects related to biology, chemistry, mathematics, and general knowledge, essential for passing the entrance exam common to all health area Bachelor's degree programs, is required.

Programme

Throughout the year, numerous seminar events were organized in collaboration with professional associations of the sector, Italian societies of hygiene and preventive medicine, and industry professionals.

Books

No specific textbooks are required. The illustrated material will be provided during the seminar.

Lessons mode

Lectures with attendance recorded on sign-in sheets.

Frequency

Participation in the activities is recorded by signing at the beginning and end of the seminar on attendance sheets prepared based on the reservations.

Exam mode

The final assessment will focus on the planned topics that make up the seminar activities.

Example exam questions

Students will be presented with a practical case in which they will need to demonstrate the professional skills acquired during the seminar activities.
