Articles and pronouns; vii. Conjunctions and prepositions; viii. Phrasal verbs. Basic Phonetics i. Sounds included in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA); ii. Main differences between American and British pronunciation; iii. Connected speech; iv. Word stress. Common Expressions Used in Clinical and Academic Contexts

No specific prerequisites are required; however, a basic knowledge of the English language is recommended.

Attendance is compulsory in accordance with the academic regulations

The evaluation will be in the form of an eligibility test (pass/fail), consisting of the critical review of a scientific article and an oral presentation.

○ The course will consist of lectures and practical exercises conducted in small groups or guided by the instructor. ○ All lessons will be conducted entirely in English, except for the introductory session, which will be held in Italian.
