Learning outcomes

This integrated course provides nursing students with theoretical and practical knowledge for the management of patients with oncologic, hematologic, cardiovascular, nephrologic, respiratory and endocrine diseases.
The aim is to develop a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach, enabling nurses to recognize major clinical conditions, apply appropriate care protocols, and collaborate effectively in integrated care pathways.

Module: NEFROLOGIA
The course therefore aims to recall the main functions of the kidney and the main renal pathologies and then focus on the role of the nurse in the assistance of different types of patients with impaired kidney function. Students must have good knowledge of kidney anatomy and physiology

Module: BLOOD DISEASES
Basic knowledge of immune system physiology: natural and acquired immunity.
