Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, students will integrate clinical pharmacology and internal medicine knowledge to identify and manage the care needs of medical-surgical patients. They will be able to plan, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based nursing interventions, while monitoring therapeutic efficacy and treatment safety. Students will develop skills in promptly recognizing clinical deterioration and preventing complications of major acute and chronic diseases. Finally, they will be capable of educating patients and caregivers on therapeutic adherence and health self-management.

Knowledge of human anatomy and the physiology of the main organs and systems
