At the end of the Integrated Course, the student will be able to: 1) Describe the structure (anatomical and histological) and function (physiological) of the main organs and systems. 2) Understand the interaction between the different systems (e.g. circulatory and respiratory systems) for the maintenance of homeostasis. 3) Correlate cell/tissue morphology with organ function. 4) Use specific terminology correctly and precisely.

Basic knowledge of Cell Biology and Organic Chemistry (structure of macromolecules, basic notions of the eukaryotic cell).

At least 67% of total hours required to understand correlations between modules.

The exam is modular. The final grade will be established on the basis of the grades obtained in the three modules. To pass the integrated exam it is necessary to have passed all three modules based on the criteria established by the teachers of the individual modules.
