Objectives
Integrated course of Pathology and Maxillo-Facial Therapy
Module I
Upon completion of the course the student must have knowledge of the topographic-surgical anatomy of the oro-maxillo-facial district with specific reference to the cranio-maxillo mandibular sector and to the oral cavity.
He must also know the main maxillofacial surgical pathologies and the main pathologies of surgical interest in the oral cavity.
At the end of the course the student must know how to do the basic surgical techniques for the maxillo-facial curriculum with particular reference to the cranio-maxillo-mandibular malformations, to traumas and to the pathology of the temporomandibular joint.
Module II
Upon completion of the course the student must have knowledge of the topographic-surgical anatomy of the gold-maxillofacial district with specific reference to the cranial-maxillo mandibular and pharyngeal and retropharynx areas.
He must also know the main maxillofacial surgical pathologies with specific reference to oncological pathologies and the main pathologies of surgical otorinolaringoiatric interest.
At the end of the course the student must know how to do the basic surgical techniques for the maxillofacial curriculum with particular reference to the oncology of the head neck area and know how to do the main surgical procedures in otorhinolaryngology.
