Learning outcomes
Learning general outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must acquire knowledge, skills and ability to perform care
activities for managing an infant or child.
In particular, it aims to provide the elements for a preliminary knowledge of an understanding and
application of global and systematic assessments of the baby, recognizing in the person the signs of
normality and change in the health / disease condition, with the use of tools and integrated systems,
taking into account physical, social, cultural, psychological, spiritual and environmental factors.
The course aims to illustrate the main tools for the clinical assessment of the intellectual, linguistic, neuropsychological, and psychopathological development of children and adolescents. The main pathological conditions affecting children and adolescents in the fields of neurology, developmental disorders, and psychiatry will be described, with an analysis of the predisposing and etiological factors, the symptoms, and the main treatment modalities, including pharmacological, rehabilitative, and psychotherapeutic approaches.
Use the nursing process to assess and resolve risks related to the main
clinical manifestations in obstetrics and gynecology.
